Advanced water chemistry for pools and spas. This seminar will take an in-depth look at sanitation and advanced troubleshooting concepts. In the first half, the focus will be on sanitation and preventing disease transmission in pools and spas. The latest news on cyanuric acid will be provided to ensure attendees will be able to discuss and implement the new ratio recommendation confidently. We will look beyond chlorine to explain the technology, advantages and issues behind supplemental sanitizers such as chlorine dioxide and other radical species. In the second half, troubleshooting topics will include remediation of high levels of phosphate, total dissolved solids, cyanuric acid and calcium hardness.
