Wind farm development decisions (where and when to build, which technology to use, how to sell the power, etc.) are based on the value of energy produced by the project. This is increasingly determined by when as well as how much energy is generated. This session will explore a number of ways time series models are being used to better understand the wind resource, loss factors, and ultimately the value of energy generated by a project.
