Whether it's scratching a dog's head, grooming a cat, overfeeding a child, or intimate contact between adult humans, the power to give or deny consent is a basic need that is often ignored. The more we pay attention to all types of consent, the safer we will be, interpersonally and even between countries. The bulk of the seminar will be about how to ask for and get consent from animals for things like nail trimming, petting, etc., but consent between adult humans will also be discussed.
