If you have ever walked through a haunted house and wondered wonder how they made what was new plywood and shiny PVC pipe only a few days ago, into this disgusting, rusty, water stained dilapidated scene, then this is the class for you! In this hands-on demonstration, scenic painter and FX makeup artist Rich Cimino will show attendees the tools and techniques to scenically create a disgusting atmosphere so real it’s scary. Using the learned techniques, attendees will be able to take the realism of their own haunts to the next level, immersing their audience into the full haunt experience. Discussion includes different tools and how to use them as well as paint colors for rust and grime. The tips and tricks included in this session are so good that you’ll need a tetanus shot after the class! Bring your grungy ideas and your gloves, ‘cause you wouldn’t want to touch these walls when we’re done.
