Mr. Niemelä has a Master of Science degree in Thermal Power from Aalto University in Finland. He has worked 25 years in Foster Wheeler/ Amec Foster Wheeler boiler division specialized for fluidized bed technology. He has been working in various positions in Finland and in Germany. Since beginning of 2010 he has the position of VP Sales in Strategic Business Development in Finland. From June 2017 the company was acquired by Sumitomo SHI from Japan - which is a long time licensee of Foster Wheeler fluidized bed technology. Mr. Niemela continues in Sumitomo SHI FW as a VP Sales in the Strategic Business Development.
