Started the carrier as Engineer for Boiler Operation and Maintenance and Operations Manager in a German utility; Worked as consultant for utilities in Europe and South Africa; Continued as engineer for planning and execution of power plant projects in the headquarters of a German utility responsible for boilers islands i. a. in Croatia and Spain; Since 2002 Project Director in ALSTOM Boiler Business leading new build projects in China/Vietnam, Poland and Germany; From 2012 responsible for the Retrofit business of ALSTOM Boiler Deutschland GmbH, since November 2015 GE Boiler Deutschland GmbH, as Director Retrofit; He graduated with University degree in Mechanical and Process Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) and postgraduate studies in maintenance engineering (Specialist engineer). 2010 he was bestowed the global credential Project Management Professional.
