Michiel is an economist with 15 years working experience, particularly in the energy industry. He has worked in natural gas transmission and trading and energy market research at the International Energy Agency. Currently, he is account manager for the Energy Fund of the Dutch province of Overijssel. As an Investment Advisor, Michiel has done numerous studies on both large scale as well as decentralized (renewable) energy projects and he participates in tenders, partnering and discussions for other regional funds.
