Franz Lehner is a Senior Consultant at E4tech, a technology informed strategic business consultancy working in sustainable energy. He has conducted a wide range of projects for private and public clients, including multinational energy companies, technology start-ups and governmental organisations such as the US Department of Energy and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. Franz co-authors the annual Fuel Cell Industry Review and has worked on a wide range of projects on fuel cells, hydrogen and other technologies that can enable a smoother energy transition. His expertise includes techno-economic assessments, supply chain, market and energy scenario analyses. Franz is an engineer by background and previously worked on the development of a novel photovoltaics technology for the start-up crystalsol.
