Ir. Marcel Ligter is active in the field of innovation for almost 20 years in consultancy and business. After his MSc study Chemical Technology at the Technical University of Eindhoven in 1995 he worked as process development engineer for several companies. During 1999-2001 as process engineer for the inner layers of printed circuit boards at ViaSystems he was responsible for the introduction of new big size production line and several prototypes of PCB. In 2001 he switched to Philips for the development of (the process of) light emitting polymers for mobile organic LED displays. After been sold to OTB, a manufacturer of inline production lines of OLED displays, he was responsible for the material development and display design group. In 2008 he made the move to Essent Environment, the predecessor of Attero, the waste management company. As Process technologist his work package is landfill & biogas, conversion of organic waste into chemicals and bioplastic and chemical recycling of plastics.
