Helena Lindquist is the CEO and founder of Lightswitch, a Swedish company devoted to accelerating international knowledge transfer in the fields of renewable energy and strategic sustainability. She has an academic and professional background in international relations and European affairs, and holds a Masters Degree in European Studies from the University of Bath, UK. Helena recently contributed a chapter on European policy to the highly acclaimed book Renewable Energy Integration: Practical Management of Variability, Uncertainty, and Flexibility in Power Grids, published in 2014. She is also involved in a number of initiatives to promote renewables and sustainability, e.g. as international advisory board member to the Centre for the Sustainable Development in Africa, based in Washington DC.
