Jean-Luc has been the President of the cluster Vallée de l’énergie for the last four years. Under his impulsion, the cluster gathered more than 80 active members, representing more than 35,000 jobs and more than € 4.0 billion revenue. He is currently plant manager for the General Electric Power Conversion site in Belfort, France. Prior to that, Jean-Luc gathered more than twenty years of experience in the power industry, including as a risk manager at Converteam and Alstom Power Conversion. In parallel of his current positions, he is : - Vice-President of the Technological University of Belfort-Montbéliard since 2001 ; - Member of the Board of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Franche-Comté ; - Regional Vice-President of the French Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence since 2011 ; He is also a former Substitute Member of Parliament of the French parliamentary session of 2002 – 2007.
