With over 20 years’ experience consulting to both the public and private sectors, Greg brings a diverse perspective to organizations that are seeking to optimize the performance of their business. Clients benefit from Greg’s understanding of various industry segments, international locations and CXO chains of command. He is particularly adept at creating, assessing and optimizing risk frameworks and for the past four years has led Grant Thornton’s global public sector governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practice. In his role as practice leader, Greg focuses on enterprise risk management (ERM), information assurance, program integrity, internal controls, forensic accounting and improper payments. He frequently writes and speaks on the topic of utilizing risk management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government programs, particularly in light of severe budget cuts.
