Joseph Sutter is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche LLP. He is a Pennsylvania Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Joseph is a part of Deloitte’s Strategic Risk Services group where he assists State and Higher Education functions improve and address regulatory, financial, operational, and strategic risks throughout the organization. Joseph leads the AGA’s effort in appealing to generations of future leaders, as the Chair of the AGA’s Young Professional Focus Group (YPFG). Since 2011, He has proactively worked, and continues to work, with AGA leadership, staff, committee members, and membership to understand the issues and concerns around attracting and retaining public sector young professionals. Joseph is accountable for briefing the AGA National Executive Committee on YPFG progress and responsible for making recommendations to AGA leadership. In addition to serving the AGA, Joseph is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the following committees: Emerging CPAs/Member Services - South Central Chapter and Local Government Accounting and Auditing.
