Tim has approximately 29 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and started Kleinschmidt’s mid-Atlantic office in Pennsylvania in 1996. He is a Vice President at Kleinschmidt and is the Power & Energy Business Sector Leader, responsible for overall strategy related to Kleinschmidt’s services to the Power Industry. His previous responsibilities have included managing Kleinschmidt’s dam safety, fish passage, marine renewables, and licensing groups. He has been involved in the licensing of a number of hydro projects, including managing the licensing of one of the largest hydro project expansions in the U.S. in the last twenty years and he has also managed numerous environmental and engineering studies for hydropower as well as for early stage offshore wind projects. He is a current member of the National Hydropower Association’s Board of Directors and a co-chair of NHA’s Marine Energy Council. Tim holds a Bachelors degree in English with a concentration in Science from the University of Richmond and a Graduate Certificate in Business Essentials from the University of Delaware.
