Ms. Slayton has 11 years of experience in environmental science consulting specializing in environmental policy, biological resources and environmental assessment, floodplain management, and watershed planning. She has been involved in numerous watershed planning projects including work related to water quality analysis, habitat assessment and planning, instream flow studies, and floodplain management. For the past 5 years, she has worked in the area of FERC hydropower licensing. She has participated in multi-government stakeholder groups convening on issues including watershed health, watershed planning, riparian and stream restoration, water quality, and flood damage reduction.
