Mr. Jones has a background in several engineering disciplines, including civil, environmental, and energy resources. Most of his experience has been gained in the hydropower industry, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) relicensing management/studies, operations and water management modeling, water temperature and quality modeling, renewable integration studies, new hydro feasibility studies, Part 12 dam safety studies (PMP/PMF) and hydrologic synthesis/characterization. With respect to relicensing, Jones has worked with varying levels of responsibility on over fifteen FERC proceedings in California, North Carolina and Colorado.
