Patrick Cooney is a Certified Fisheries Scientist and Science Communications Manager for Smith-Root, Inc. He has conducted numerous fisheries research studies on the ecosystem-related interactions of warm and cool-water fish assemblages from Puerto Rico to the Carolinas. His scientific achievements were honored by the American Fisheries Society at the 143rd Annual Meeting in Little Rock, AR in 2013.
