Dr. Sabol is a Principal with Stantec Consulting Services Inc in Phoenix, AZ. He has provided engineering services in the evaluation, design and construction of more than 50 dams in the western US and internationally. Recently he managed the design of the repairs to the failed pump-storage intake on Horse Mesa Dam on the Salt River in Arizona. He is the author of engineering guidance and practices for dam safety for state and local agencies.
