Jon serves as the Regional Director of Business Development for Gravity Renewables, Inc. He brings a breadth of industry knowledge and resources surrounding the hydro community that he has accumulated over more than a decade. In addition, he has a long track record in hydroelectric environmental matters concerning the licensing and compliance of Gravity Renewables’ projects. Previously, Jon served as Principal of Riparian Strategies in Rhode Island where he was highly involved in stakeholder outreach, economic assessment and environmental resource characterization on a multitude of hydroelectric projects. Prior to this he worked as a lead scientist and energy analyst for the Essex Partnership where he created decision support tools for hydroelectric investments and created strategies for ecological restoration and preservation. He also worked for Kleinschmidt Associates, a leading small water resources consultancy, where he managed FERC hydropower related licensing and compliance projects. He holds an M.A. in Ecology and Environmental Science from Central Connecticut State University.
