Eric Moisan studied residual stresses in hydroelectric turbine welded joints at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal and completed his Master degree in 2005. Since then, he has been working at Alstom as junior hydraulic design engineer (2005 to 2007) then as hydraulic design engineer until 2013. He is now working as a turbine mechanical design engineer. His expertise is mainly in turbine design, supply and fabrication follow-up, commissioning and performance tests that he did for several North American projects.
