Sharon has a PhD in Marine Biology from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and an extensive background working in FERC hydro-relicensing as well as a regulatory background with the Endangered Species Act. In the past few years she has been involved in licensing for several marine and hydrokinetic projects along the west coast. She has participated as lead on a team funded by the DOE to develop a framework for evaluating potential environmental effects associated with siting marine hydrokinetic projects. Sharon is a Principal at H. T. Harvey Associates and leads the company’s North Coast California office in Arcata.
