Brad Kerchof has been Director Research and Tests for Norfolk Southern in Roanoke, VA for four years. Prior to joining R&T, Brad spent 33 years in maintenance-of-way, working as Division Engineer in Birmingham for NS and in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis for Conrail. Brad began as an engineering management trainee with Conrail, and one of his early career assignments was with TTC in Pueblo, CO. Brad has a BSCE from the University of Virginia and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
