Mark is a product architect for the Train Performance group at GE Transportation in Melbourne, FL. He is responsible for integration of networking and applications with worldwide customers’ locomotives and infrastructure. Mark is a regular speaker at embedded systems and software developer conferences worldwide, focusing on the subjects of virtualization, safety-critical systems, and embedded operating systems and their application to the transportation industry. He recently published a book titled Software Engineering for Embedded Systems: Methods, Practical Techniques, and Applications. Mark also actively participates in industry standards development.
