Trevor is originally from Shawnee, KS, suburb of Kansas City. He graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University in 2006, earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Math and Chemistry. He went on to Kansas State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2008. Trevor chose a structural concentration to fulfill the requirements of his degree in Civil Engineering from Kansas State. He is involved in AREMA Committee 8 (Concrete) and is working to earn a Masters in Engineering Management degree from Kansas State University. Trevor Attwood began his railroad career with BNSF on January 19, 2009 as an Engineering Management Trainee. Prior to hiring on full time, he experienced two summer internships with BNSF while in college. He served the Structures department in Kansas City for 2 years. He came aboard the Burlington Bridge Project as Project Engineer for Part II in May 2011. After Burlington in June 2012, Trevor became a Supervisor Structures of Northern California out of Fresno until April 2014. He then went be Project Engineer at Princeton, IL for 2 large truss bridges. Since 2015, started a design role as Mgr Structures Design in Kansas City office and recently passed the Civil-Geotech PE Exam in April. Trevor is married to Jenna together they enjoy their 6-year-old daughter, Maren, 4-yr-old son, Briar, 2-yr-old son, Wade and newborn daughter, TBD. After moving back to Kansas City last year they are glad to be back home close to family. Hobbies include tennis, ping pong, racquetball, biking and playing with my 4 kids.
