Noah Helman has been a synthetic biologist for 11 years: first as a postdoc at UCSF, then at the advanced biofuels and biobased chemicals startup LS9, now as co-founder and CSO of Industrial Microbes. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford and an A.B. in Physics from Harvard.
