Ram Krishnan was appointed CEO in September 2014, bringing more than 17 years of executive experience to the role. Prior to joining Buzztime, Ram served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Active Network, where he directed his division’s strategy, operations and growth. With a technical background and extensive product development and management expertise, Ram held several key leadership positions with GE and its affiliates earlier in his career, most recently serving as Global Vice President and General Manager of GE’s Radiology IT division. There he helped lead the transformation of their product platform, introduced new products and drove commercial execution globally. In addition to the extensive management training and experience he gained at GE, Ram completed his MBA at the University of Chicago. He also holds a degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia.
