Andolini's Pizza
Brothers Mike and Jim Bausch recognized an opportunity to bring to Owasso, Oklahoma an independent, local restaurant focused on authentic tastes -- food, wine, and beer worth having. So they launched Andolini's Pizzeria in 2005. Both brothers grew up around the classic pizzerias in New York and Mike also spent several years on the West Coast involved in pizza restaurants. They decided to make everything from scratch so that no one could easily duplicate the menu. After building a successful suburban location, Mike & the Andolini’s team, now including third owner John Davey, began to look for a new opportunity to do more. They found and built a space in a just-beginning-to-thrive urban area of Tulsa known as "Cherry Street" with a totally different vibe - New York corner bar from the 1920s. Custom cocktails, inventive pairings, and a focus on bringing in the best craft beers and wines combined with pizza consistently voted as "Best in Oklahoma" and "Best in Tulsa" resulted in a high-demand business known for servers who know their drink menu as well as their food menu. Now with three Andolini's Pizzeria locations, two with full bars; one STG Pizzeria (true Napoletana wood-fired pizza) location and an in-demand food truck, Mike speaks regularly about staying true to your brand, menu innovation, smart bar & food strategy and entrepreneurship. Pizza Today magazine named Andolini’s Pizzeria to the “Hot 100” list of independent pizzerias in America in 2012, 2013, and 2014; Mike has been named "Restauranteur of the Year" and the various locations have earned numerous other fan-favorite and local awards.
