Dr. Stefan Müller received the joint master’s degree in Microelectronics from Technical University Munich, Germany, and Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2011. He also holds a German diploma degree in Mechatronics and Information Technology as well as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering both from Technical University Munich, Germany (2011/2008). In 2011, he joined NaMLab gGmbH, a research institute originally founded as joint-venture between DRAM manufacturer Qimonda and the University of Technology Dresden. In 2015, he received his PhD degree from Dresden University of Technology for his work on HfO2-based ferroelectric devices. He then became project leader of the publicly funded research transfer project “EXIST Forschungstransfer” aiming at the commercialization of ferroelectric hafnium oxide. Since 2016, he is CEO of FMC – The Ferroelectric Memory Company.
