Carla A. Krabbe Carla Krabbe is the Associate Commissioner for Financial Policy and Operations at the Social Security Administration (SSA). In this position, she also serves as the agency’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for agency-wide financial management policy and procedures including: • SSA’s Certificate of Excellence in Accountability Reporting award-winning Agency Financial Report; • Integrated financial accounting payment and reporting system; • Administrative accounting and auditing activities; • Certification and accounting activities for SSA’s earnings, social insurance, and income maintenance programs; • Internal controls program; • Travel management and relocation programs; • Conference planning and management; and • Improper payments reporting. Carla received her Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Loyola University, Maryland. She has served on the Loyola Sellinger School of Business and Management Accounting Advisory Board. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Government Financial Manager. She is a Past President of the Baltimore Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants.
