Wes began, aged 14, selling programmes at Billy Smarts Circus in the UK. He worked through university spending his summers working on rides and attractions before being awarded a first class BSc (Hons) degree. Wes served in the military and was commissioned into the Parachute Regiment where he was deployed to Belize, Kenya and Afghanistan during his service. After his service, Wes returned to the industry as a rides manager and eventually became the Operations Director at Harbour Park overseeing changes to rides, retail, food & beverage and arcades. He was promoted in 2015 to lead his organization by being appointed Managing Director at Harbour Park, after becoming a Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE). Wes is involved with the British Association (BALPPA) and has served on sub Committees within IAPPA.
