Obtained B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 1971 after attending two years in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Joined Mr. Gatti's in 1974 as a Pizzamaker/Dishwasher and was promoted to Location Manager soon after. Within the same year became District Supervisor for Mr. Gatti's Inc. and from 1976 until 1978 was Director of Operations for the expansion of Mr. Gatti's in Corpus Christi, TX. In 1978, formed Valley Restaurants to expand the Mr. Gatti's brand in the Lower Rio Grande Valley area of Texas. In 1997 sold these stores to a large Mr. Gatti's franchisee and joined Foodservice Management Systems, Inc., as Director of Operations. In 2004 was promoted to Vice President of Operations and in January of 2010, became President and Chief Operating Officer of FMS.
