1 Trick Pony

Rob was born and raised in the outskirts of Atlantic City and earned his BFA in graphic design from The Cooper Union in New York City. He was a founding partner of the interactive design studio, The Chopping Block, where he led projects for the likes of Nickelodeon, Miramax, Turner Classic Movies, Yahoo!, and National Geographic. After nearly 10 years in New York City, he returned to his native South Jersey where he co-founded One Trick Pony. Rob’s work has been featured in Communication Arts, HOW Design, and ID magazines, and has been praised by the One Show, the Art Directors Club, the American Center for Design, SXSW, the PROMAX awards, and all but one client he has worked for. He was included in the Smithsonian’s National Design Triennial in 2003 and was named as one of 80 emerging artists shaping the future of design. His work is a part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. Rob’s primary role at One Trick Pony is as Chief Creative Officer and visionary for our clients and company. When he’s not busy doing that, he helps manage the business and tries to point the Pony in the right direction. Rob currently lives in Hammonton, NJ, the Blueberry Capital of the World, with his wife Stacey and their three children, Sam, Sydney, and Bodey.
