Mrs. Naomi Wheeler is the former Executive Director of the UCF Marriage and Family Research Institute (MFRI), Co-Investigator and Director for Project TOGETHER, a federally funded research study. Under Mrs. Wheeler’s leadership, Project TOGETHER provided relationship education and support services to over 5,000 individuals, couples and families in the Central Florida community.  Mrs. Wheeler is a National Certified Counselor and Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. She is a current doctoral student in Counselor Education at UCF. She has worked in various mental health settings for over 10 years as a Counselor, Recreation Therapist and Administrator. She has presented locally and nationally on topics ranging from the impact of workforce development on family stability and relationship satisfaction, to research presentations addressing the impact and outcomes of relationship education interventions for individuals and couples.
