Dr. Robika Modak Mylroie is currently a distance clincial professor in the counseling and special populations department at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Robika’s previous experience consists of working as in the clinical setting before becoming a school counselor. Robika was a school counselor for several years in a middle school. She has worked as an adjunct professor for Lamar as well as the lead field supervisor. . Her current research involves childhood obesity's impact on children, Alternative Learning Experience schools, and yoga and mindfulness.
