Dr. Chung is a Professor at the Counseling & Development Program. Dr. Chung has published extensively in the fields of cross-cultural and multicultural psychology and counseling and has over 90 publications in professional journals and book chapters in major psychology and counseling textbooks, as well as, two books, one on refugee trauma, adjustment and psychological well-being, and the other on social justice counseling. She has been asked by the American Psychological Association to make a training DVD on counseling immigrants and by Alexander Street Press to make four DVDs on her: social justice work; post-disaster counseling and training; and the unique focus on multicultural social justice counseling training at the Counseling & Development Program at GMU.
