Katherine A. Feather is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a doctoral student in the Counselor Education & Supervision program at the University of South Carolina. Katherine has worked in a variety of settings from residential to outpatient treatment with children and adults. She is currently the mental health counselor at the South Carolina Commission for the Blind in the adjustment to blindness program. Her research interests include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Animal-Assisted Intervention, school-to-career transition of students with disabilities, and psychosocial adjustment and family adaptation to a disability.
