Nikki Elston holds a Masters Degree in College Student Development. She has worked in the field of higher education for 13 years, most recently at Georgetown University where she served as an Academic Dean of Student Affairs in the School of Nursing & Health Studies.  Her areas of interest are first-generation, undergraduate college students, participation in first-year seminars, and mattering.    She currently serves as the President-Elect for the Georgia State Chi Epsilon chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, where she is implementing community service and social activities as a means to increased chapter engagement.
