Tom Murphy is a third-year doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Practice program at Georgia State University.  His research interests include the influence of private social networks on the professional development of counseling students, evidence based trauma interventions and gender identity.  Tom is currently serving as CSI Leadership Fellow and has received a research grant from Counselors for Social Justice.
