Dr. Glen White is the Technical Director of the Services Development Directorate (SDD). He is responsible for technical oversight of a portfolio of DISA-developed capabilities including: Business Systems (Financial, Corporate Management, and Procurement), Enterprise-Wide Services (Collaboration, Unified Capabilities, Unclassified Information Sharing, Medical COI), Emergent Services, and a portfolio of Joint Warfighter information systems (Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J), Global Combat Support System - Joint (GCSS-J), Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES)). Dr. White also has direct responsibility for leading the maintenance of the Joint C2 Reference Architecture for all information systems of the Joint Command and Control community and leading the joint community’s Multi-party Engineering effort. Dr. White is focused on synchronizing the efforts of the Joint Information Environment, DISA’s Enterprise Services, Cloud Computing efforts and other DISA capabilities with the modernization of the SDD portfolio and the Joint C2 community. Examples of this are, Identity and Access Management (IdAM) capability, Cloud Computing implementation, and the implementation and DoD/Department of National Intelligence (DNI) governance of Ozone Widget Framework. He is also synchronizing the Joint C2 and DISA modernization and architecture efforts with the intelligence community, OSD, and Services’ architecture efforts. Dr. White was awarded a B.S. in Mathematics from Louisiana State University in1972, a M.S. in Computer Science from Kansas State University in 1985, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tulane University in 1997. He graduated from the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS in 1991.
