Kit Walsh is a staff attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a nonprofit civil liberties organization that protects the rights of technology users. Kit led the legal battle before the Copyright Office to protect the right to repair, modify, and reverse engineer vehicles without running afoul of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and is currently litigating a lawsuit against the government that would invalidate the anti-tinkering aspects of that law in their entirety.
