Kenneth L. Gregory is the Compliance and Safety Manager for Pentair Water Quality Products. He is currently a voting member of the Pool & Hot Tub Association (PHTA) of the Recreational Water Quality Committee (RWQC), ANSI/APSP/ICC-16 Standard Writing Committee (SWC) for the Federal Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act drain cover standard, the Chairman of the PHTA 7 Entrapment Standard and many other PHTA committees. Ken served as the Chairman of the PHTA Builders Council and Chairman of the NSF International Water Conditioning Device Task Group and a Member of the NSF 50 Joint Committee. He is actively involved in many other standards setting organizations and is a member of the International Code Council (ICC) International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC) Writing Committee. In addition, he is the Chairman of the ICC Plumbing. Mechanical. Gas and Swimming Pool Membership Council. Ken is a former commercial pool contractor with over 30 years of experience in the design, sales, construction management and maintenance of residential and commercial pools. He has designed and built pools ranging from a few hundred square feet to several thousand. This includes filtration, chemical controls, UV light systems, variable frequency drives, flow controls and heating systems of all types. He is directly responsible for all facets of the design process, cost estimating, specifications and construction management of all commercial projects.
