Rachel Pugmire

Rachel began her healthcare career with St Luke’s in Boise, Idaho in 2002 in an entry-level position in Breast Care Services. She completed her Radiology Bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Boise State University and worked as an X-ray technologist while she completed her Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine from Weber State University. She joined the St Luke’s Idaho Cardiology team as a Nuclear Medicine technologist in 2006 and became the lead technologist in 2007. Rachel then became a Practice Manager for Cardiology Ancillary Services in 2013 and subsequently the Senior Director of Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery in February 2017. Rachel has a Masters of Health Science Leadership degree from Boise State University. She additionally became a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) in 2016 and will complete her Fellowship with the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACHE) in late 2017. Rachel has held various board positions with the Idaho Medical Group Management Association (IMGMA) since 2014, including the 2017 President position.
