Megan grew up in central New Jersey before making the trek toward hotter summers and shorter winters in North Carolina in 2005. After settling in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill triangle region of the state, she joined UNC Health Care in early 2010. In her current role as HCS Educational Manager, she manages a training team that has over 25 years of combined training and education experience. The operational training delivered by Megan’s team provides support to clinic business staff in outpatient areas. The team is dedicated to defining training opportunities, designing engaging, interactive, and hands-on operational training, and delivering comprehensive training programs. Since the launch of their successful 7-part operational training program in October 2015, her dedicated team has delivered operational training to over 1,500 employees from various job functions including clinic business staff, front desk employees, certified medical assistants, referral coordinators, administrative supervisors, and financial counselors across the UNC Health Care system and the state of North Carolina.
