With over 25 years executive experience leading healthcare organizations of all sizes, Shelly is widely recognized for her skilled leadership in both inpatient and outpatient specialties. Nuanced at leading both private practices and larger enterprises, Shelly's emphasis work is in areas of practice operations, strategic planning, financial management, business operations efficiency, and staff training and development. Shelly believes that physicians are key in leading the transformation of the healthcare system, and that the key to success is partnering that leadership with management knowledge. Shelly is currently Practice Administrator for Children’s Mercy – Johnson County Pediatrics in the greater Kansas City area. She is Certified in the American College of Medical Practice Executives has been an active participant in MGMA at the local, state and national levels.
