Jo Stueve

Jo Stueve, a native of Kansas City, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in 1971 and her master's degree in health services administration from KU in 2002, where she received the Bret Hammig Award as outstanding student. Jo came to Children's Mercy in 1988 as a supervisor in the commercial billing department. She was later promoted to director, and in 1994 was named executive director of the hospital's managed care department. She was promoted to vice president in 1997, and later expanded her duties to become Vice President of Patient Financial Services and Managed Care. In 2004, Jo was named Senior Vice President for Administrative Services, and in 2006 she was again promoted to Executive Vice President and Co-Chief Operating Officer.
