I started in the medical field as a Medical Assistant almost 25 years ago; working in various specialties as well as family practice. I’ve spent the last 11 years on the administrative side overseeing the development and implementation of quality reporting programs for physicians. This involved assisting providers in creating efficient and effective processes to incorporate the many asks of payers in reporting on the clinical quality metrics as it pertains to HEDIS/Stars, PQRS, Chronic Disease management, etc. My current role as Quality Coordination manager, utilizes the knowledge I have gained over the years to begin developing proactive approaches to address care gap concerns. When not at work I am busy being wife, mom and youth leader. I have 3 amazing sons (ages 22, 18, and 6), one awesome daughter in law and about 17 teenage girls that call me coach!!
