Shelly A. Waggoner, MS, CEBS, SHRM-SCP, is the Vice President, Human Resources at MGMA and serves as a member of the Executive Team. With over 19 years of experience in Human Resources, Shelly brings strategic human resources leadership to the Association and partners with the organization leaders to identify, develop and drive key talent management initiatives, building a culture of engagement, agility and innovation. Prior to joining MGMA, Shelly served in a Human Resources role at Mountain States Employers Council, a Colorado human resources and employment law organization. Shelly holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership/Human Resources Management from Regis University. Shelly received her certification as a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is also SHRM-SCP certified from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
