Patrick Lee is the co-founder and CEO of PXiSE Energy Solutions, LLC., a subsidiary of Sempra Energy with an investment by Mitsui & Co., Ltd. PXiSE offers high-speed, advanced control technology for autonomous control of the modern power grid. Lee is also the Vice President of Infrastructure and Technology at Sempra Energy. With over 30 years of energy industry experience, he joined the Sempra family of companies in 1991 and has provided oversight and governance for large projects in electric system planning, design, construction, operations, energy markets, renewables, and technology RD&D. Lee is a registered professional electrical engineer in California and a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also a council member and distinguished expert of the California Council on Science and Technology, an advisory trustee for the California State Parks Foundation, and an advisor for IEEE Smart Village. Previously, he served as an advisor for the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. Lee graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University and holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Sacramento.
