Dan Pickel is the Director of Certification at the North American Board for Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Dan has a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Analysis, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Dan worked as a teacher for several years in China and was in the Peace Corps in Eastern Europe working on community development projects focused on workforce and youth development. Dan currently manages NABCEP’s certification programs and workforce development initiatives to improve quality assurance and diversity in the solar industry. Dan has extensive experience with project management, workforce development, data analysis, outreach, grants management, and strategic & business management.
