As the Academic Director for the MS in Accounting program and a faculty member at George Mason University, I teach accounting and data analytics while completing my Executive Ph.D. at Virginia Tech. My doctoral research focuses on how financial systems are changing, acting as a natural bridge between academic theory and my 30 years in public service. Before joining GMU, I served as a federal senior executive leading major modernization efforts at OMB, DHS, NSF, and the IRS. Today, I use that real-world experience to shape our master's program and prepare the next generation of tech-smart financial professionals.
